System Information
Operating system: Debian Sid (latest)
Graphics card: GTK 1050 TI

Blender Version
Broken: 2.80.75
(example: 2.79b release)
(example: 2.80, edbf15d3c044, blender2.8, 2018-11-28, as found on the splash screen)
Worked: (optional)

Short description of error
So, I'm a bit of a newbie, and I am positioning a bunch of cameras around a rollercoaster (physics project, your guess is correct). Now, I am using the transform menu on the right side of the layout screen, and manipulating the sliders to position each camera. This is all well and good, until you hit the wrong slider, and scale the camera. This led to Blender crashing.

After my last crash (the one that I discuss here (also, I might have three BlenderID's now)), I started saving obbsessivley, so I didn't lose any work. Just felt I ought to point it out.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Make a camera
Select the camera
Try to use the transform menu to rapidly scale the camera
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).

I cannot reproduce this with either the latest stable or current development versions of Blender:

Please try the latest daily build: https://builder.blender.org/download/

Go to File → Defaults → Load Factory Settings and then load your file to see if you still can reproduce this issue.

If the problem persists, please also share your .blend file here (this makes sure we are all looking at the same thing)
Or are you saying this happens on the default camera [with Factory Settings] as well?
