Short description of error
Después de modelar algo fácil, me di la tarea de asignar material a mi maya (mi equipo no me permite texturizar por lo antiguo que
es) cuando asigno un segundo material a la maya, esta se crusa y deforma (adjunte una screenshot)

¿Como se produce?
Simple. Solo al dirigirse a la pestaña de material, crear nuevo material al que solo le daré color ( en este caso negro que por defecto se le asigna a todo el objeto) luego al crear un segundo material (rojo anaranjado) y seleccionar un numero x de caras del mismo objeto, cuando pulso asignar es cuando ocurre.
Este esta modelado con blender 2.79B
