System Information
Operating system: Windows 10 x64
Graphics card: Nvidia 980 GTX

Blender Version
Broken: v 2.82 Alpha, 10-12-2019

Short description of error
If Brush stroke is set to Curve and some sculpt detail is added (Ctrl + Left Click), (Ctrl + Z) or Undo does not work. Instead of Undo for the sculpt detail, the curve control points are removed.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Start with default cube and add Multi-Res modifier, subdivide a couple of times.
  2. Go to sculpt mode and with the SculptDraw brush set the stroke to Curve.
  3. Draw a curve using (Ctrl + Right Click) to add some control points.
  4. Add sculpt details using Ctrl + Left Click.
  5. Press Ctrl + Z. Instead of removing the details the control points of the curve will be removed first.
  6. Press Ctrl + Z repeatedly. When the last control point remains then the sculpt detail will be removed.

I found a way to get around the problem, when you want to undo a detail of the sculpt, create a new curve and press undo a couple of times, it does not solve it completely, but it is a way to do it without deleting the curve completely, keep in mind that if you start another from the current curve, all the details you have made in the current curve one will be erased if you undo, good luck!

I just bumped into this as I was creating a stylised character and wanted to add seams to her armor. This is completely impossible to work with and curve tool should be perfect for seams and stitches.
What I would like to do is place my curve, try drawing, maybe redo and tweak the curve just a little bit and redraw.
Now I instead have to try drawing, press undo until the whole curve is gone and then the sculpt gets removed, and then I need to remake the curve. But this is not a way to work with this since I can't remember exactly how my old curve was placed and hence, I can't tweak it. Would love to see someone looking into this as it really makes the curve draw impossible to work with.

Thanks for all your awesome work!
