Seems to be a general issue. Tried to load a few different scenes. They all can't be rendered.

I've tested the latest build of today 15.12.19 and it will crash when starting a render with F12. Also on a Threadripper with GTX 1080Ti.

Can you please open Blender's install directory and double click on the blender_debug_gpu.cmd. This will start Blender in a debug mode and create a log file that may help us identify the issue. Once Blender has started, open one of the affected projects and try to make it crash again. When Blender closes the Windows Explorer should open and show you two files. Please upload them on here through the upload button shown in the screenshot below.

Latest build blender-2.82-1ef6be368683-windows64 seems to be fixed. The realtime support is amazing!

@Renderbicks The cuCtxSynchronize() error can have many causes, one of them being that the Timeout Detection and Recovery (TDR) delay is too low and the OS reinitializes the driver and resets the GPU. If the issue should occur again, try to increase the delay and check if that fixes the problem permanently.

I'm closing this ticket since you've been reporting the issue as resolved.

I started to have this same problem few weeks ago. Now it's almost every time I put on render preview and use it on too big of a part of the screen. Full screen render preview is basically GG for blender. I suspect it might have something to do with latest nvidia studio drivers, or can it have some library interference, because I downloaded and tried blender 2.83?? Or is it impossible? I never replaced files tho, ran from separate folders.

The worst part is that I can't even end blender task from task manager. It just crashes and stays there for hours, until I log out of windows or restart. It's geting reaaaaaly annoying already to have 4-5 unresponsive blender windows open.

Also I have edited the render delay values etc, like substance painter likes. And same thing happens with all the blender versions.

I use for preview render 2x 1080ti on cuda.

I tested the scene again with the official 2.82 with the latest Nvida driver 442.19. No crashes.

debug_logs.rar I have the same issue, and whenever I try to make the render with cycles and gpu render, it just freezes all around, everything looks very bugged and stuck, and I used my gpu mainly for rendering, I need it please fix it, here is a debug file too
