System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.18362 64 Bits
Graphics card: GeForce GTX 980/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 441.66

Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.81 (sub 16), branch: master, commit date: 2019-12-04 11:32, hash: f1aa4d18d4
Worked: (optional)

Short description of error
[Please fill out a short description of the error here]
When rendering a cube with 'generated' mapping and texture mode set to blended box the result is as expected. When submitting the render to deadline using the integrated submitter, the mapping appears incorrect, like 'Flat' with 'Generated'.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
test1.jpg
Make object with box mapped texture using Generated coordinate type.
Submit to Deadline render manager

This could be the same bug reported in #72474 that has already been fixed, if Deadline / Thinkbox Software is using the affected Blender version. Please check if that is the case.

ok, thanks.
Do I just need to try this again with 2.82?

@danny.austin The version that is running on the AWS instance is what's relevant, not your local version that is submitting the render job.

Ah, sorry. I'm running Deadline on my local render farm.. not on AWS.
I have 2.81a installed on all machines.

If the file renders correctly when you use Blender but not when you use renderfarm the issue is either in the farm software on in its configuration. Neither of that can be solved by Blender developers.

Thanks for the report, but we can only fix reproducible bugs in Blender.
