Crash when rendering in Cycles

Short description of error
When I render frame 461 in Cycles, Blender crashes.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. move timeline to frame 461.
  2. click F12
  3. Blender crashes

This happens regardless of whether I try rendering a single frame or animation. Other frames in the animation work, including 460 and 462. And 461 renders fine in EEVEE.
The frame renders fine in 2.81a.

Not a big deal, just weird.

Can not reproduce either it renders well

I am using NVIDIA Quadro K4000 graphics card

This is embarrassing.

After having the issue the last two days, and restarting Blender a couple of times during those days, when I try it this morning, it renders fine.

My apologies.

There's probably still a bug somewhere, but until we can reproduce it there is not much we can do.
