Delete Branch "%!s(<nil>)"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

Broken: 2.8 2.79 doesn't work ether.
(example: 2.79b release)

Short description of error Command flashes once with gray window in the back then Shuts off.....
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).
Please some one fix Blender. I have paid 1600 euro for a new PC for the purpoce of learning Blender

The devs can't really help you with such minimal infos !
Are you implying that blender doesn't open or that it crashes?
Please provide a blend file and simple steps to recreate the issue. Also try running blender from blender_debug_log file and attach the log files.
