Short description of error
[I cant see the Measured Values in the Layout and the Modeling View. I can see them in e.g. Sculpting Mode. I dont know if its a bug because i didnt find any similar threads on google with that kind of problems...]
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
[select 2 vertex and click on the segment button. also click on the show button of the measureit menu]
[Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible)]

Are you still able to reproduce this issue in current versions of Blender. If yes what are the exact steps? I have not been able to reproduce it, the measurements are displayed in object, edit mode and sculpt mode, as well as across different workspaces.
