Short description of error
when sliding a vertex along an edge by double-tapping G, if you try to slide it over the limits of said edge (by holding the Alt key), it does not apply the operation when releasing the mouse.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. open new file
  2. enter edit mode and select a vertex
  3. enter constrained moving mode by double tapping G key
  4. holding the Alt key to show the extended edge constraint, move to any position within the yellow line.
  5. click the left mouse button to apply the operation, and it does nothing. you are forced to press "Enter" (or right mouse button to cancel the operation)

Seems like you have modified your keymap somehow and broke this.
