Short description of error
Using modifiers plus wireframe overlay hides selection in ortho mode.

Works better in perspective, But still confusing

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

Turn on and off Wirefeame overlay

I'm not sure why until now, but when I load the file without the UI (meanst standart blender startup), the issue is gone

I can confirm that the selected edge is not displayed correctly in orthographic mode.

@Sebastian Parborg (zeddb) this is looking a lot better with today's build, could this be fixed by the updates that @Clément Foucault (fclem) did the lasts weeks?

I will keep testing, but it seems that looks great at first glance.

Right, Clement rewrote how wire frames are draw/overlaid in the viewport. So it has potentially fixed this issue.
