There is no control of anti-aliasing for grease pencil in the workbench or viewport render engines.

8 AA (render)No AA (render)

The render AA settings don't affect Grease Pencil.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

The Grease Pencil setting for anti-aliasing that was in user preferences used to change this, but now that's been removed, it's not clear what should control it.

Event Timeline

Viewport Anti-Aliasing have no influence on F12 render in my case.
If this setting has influence on rendered image I would treat this as separate bug.

As for GP setting, can you perhaps explain, why it should exist, so we can have more concrete case to argue about?

Correct it doesn't (both in user prefs and render properties)

I'm not necessarily wanting an explicit GPencil AA option (though I'm not against having more granular control).
Just for the scene AA settings to affect GPencil, now that that option has been removed...

@Clément Foucault (fclem) I guess the AA for GPencil is not using that parameter, no?

And yes, the Grease Pencil AA settings have been removed from User Prefs.

Clément Foucault (fclem) claimed this task.

The only way to turn off antialiasing for GP is to use the Simplify option.
