Short description of error
With the default settings, f-curves in the graph editor are very hard to see. I presume this is because the curves are only one pixel wide in combination with using high resolution display (I am using a MacBook Pro 16"). However if I search for graph editor images on google, most of them seem to have more line thickness and better visibility. See for example the attached image from the manual. The f-curve visibility setting in the preferences helps, but I have to set it close to 1 to get good visibility, and then there is no difference anymore between the selected and inactive curves. A little added line thickness would help a lot.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

that's just because they are not selected I suppose

Can you show an image with some F-Curves selected and others not?
(To select it you have to click on the keyframe)
Curves selected
Unselected
This is with factory settings.
I don't see much difference. Also the lines are not 1px size as you described.
The red color seems a little more highlighted.
Are you sure this is a bug?
