The file you sent us is missing images (HDRi) so the result we get is far from yours. You will need to pack images into your Blender file for identical results.
However, running this test on my system shows that the issue may be related to CPU+GPU rendering. There are two possible causes. The first is adaptive sampling being different between the two devices as discussed in the adaptive sampling release notes.
The other potential issue is the whole "CPUs and GPU will sometimes render the same thing differently" issue that keeps poping up from time to time.
I would suggest your run your own tests with these options to help narrow down the cause:

I've run the tests as you ask (see the name of attached image) and added the hdr + the packed blend file.
As you said the issue is with CPU+GPU rendering;
also GPU only rendering shows strange vertical line, both with AS on and off.

I can reproduce this with openCL. This issue doesn't look like duplicate of any task describing CPU/GPU differences.

OpenCL has been removed and Blender 3.x received significant updates to Cycles GPU rendering. If the issue persists, please create a new report.
