I attempted to fix this in rB05b94c9c5457

Can anyone test and report back?

Fixed, at least for me.

Clément Foucault (fclem) claimed this task.

Feel free to reopen if anyone experience it again.

I have the same question. I couldn't find a newer blender.

Ok, we will wait 😉
