Short description of error
Green background occurring when adding volume node in the shading window.
Playing with the anisotropy or changing the color of the background have no impact on the issue.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

Could you attach a simple file demonstrating the problem?

The green background is correct given the shading nodes used here. Since the volume fills the entire space, it will obscure the background.
You can use a mesh object with volume shader or procedural shading to limit where the volume exists.
Thank you for your swift response Germano, here is the file I was working on last night. Also I am working with eevee, the problem doesn't seem to show in cycles. I have sent my file to friend and he did not have this green background so it might be a problem with my version of blender and my mac?

In fact, when comparing with the image, it seems that something is really wrong:
Seems related to #75114
(Mac has something special with this green color #74029)
Do you have the same green tint when you open my file?
Hello Brecht Van Lommel, thank you for your help. I don't understand though why the green background is correct, I did not assigned a green color to it. If I change the color of the background or the lights, the green background still occurs. It doesn't show in cycles. Any idea how to fix this using eevee?
Thank you,
No.
Perhaps a developer with OpenGL skills and access to a Mac with the same problem won't show up anytime soon.
But the code is in constant development, and there are plans to implement Vulkan as an option for OpenGL.
We don't have a data yet, but with Vulkan this problem will probably be fixed.

@Rodo I am looking at older reports, is this still an issue? Or have anything changed?
Hello Richard,
Thank you very much for your response, I tried to reproduce the issue and it appears to be working fine. I will inform you if something changes. I am still using the same imac and my version of blender is now the 2.90.1.
Thanks again and have a nice day!
Best,
Rodolphe

Thanks for letting us know. Will close as resolved for now. If problems persist let us know, and try Blender 2.91 as well.
