Can you click on Help > Save System Info and upload file that has been created? It seems that you are using integrated GPU instead of dedicated one.

I can look up some guide posted here on tracker if this is the case and you have trouble setting correct GPU to be used.

If problems persists please run file blender_debug_log.cmd located in Blender folder and upload logs and crash file.

Updated/added the crash file in the description.

Last working correctly on: 18dd289e1a
I don't think GPU is the problem else it would have crashed in 2.83 beta, it is not crashing there nor at the above mentioned hash.

And there is something peculiar about the Cube the selection around it seems a bit weird Screenshot (74).png

That would mean that 6ede93bab3 broke some stuff, which is not in 2.83.

I would recommend to upload files I have requested and you cal look into it and see if you are using integrated GPU or not. I have seen quite a few reports about issues with HD Graphics 620/630 so it is quite likely that this may be cause of crash / weird issues like this

Or you can upload only section of that file containing related info if you are worried about privacy:

Here is the asked info:

****

renderer:	'GeForce MX150/PCIe/SSE2'
vendor: 'NVIDIA Corporation'
version:	'4.5.0 NVIDIA 445.87'

But I compiled again and it is working fine now (don't know what caused it), I think you can close this issue.
