Short description of error
When you change the "Data File Format" from "Uni Cache" to "OpenVDB", the simulation bake but not work (Nothing happen on playback).

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Select the default cube
  2. Quick Effects > Quick Liquid
  3. Change "Data File Format" from "Uni Cache" to "OpenVDB" in the Cache Panel under the Simulation tab.
  4. Play animation on replay mode or bake all in Final mode

I thought there was another report about this, but cannot find it atm.

Closing this report since OpenVDB caching was completely refactored in rB9fe64948abe9 and rB995185894289.
For new OpenVDB I think it would make most sense to open a new report.
