System Information
Operating system: Windows 10 Home - 10.0.18362

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7800X CPU @ 3.50GHz
32GB RAM

Blender Version
Broken: 2.83
Worked: newest version of Blender that worked as expected

Short description of error
After Domain > Gas > Bake, nothing shows up in the viewport.
Not in solid, nor rendered view. (Cycles)

It only shows up in the viewport after I bake my noise.

Currently following this tutorial (With the Khaos add-on)
You can see LightArchitect move around the visible explosion, after a simple bake.
But even before I had Khaos, this didn't work properly.

The follow up is discussed in both #77954 and #77922

Can you upload file without using unofficial addons? We need as simple files as possible to identify issues as fast as possible. Addons may unnecessarily complicate things.

Of course, I'm sorry. I've had this problem with every "explosion" I've made so far, though.
So you could replicate the same issue with the file from #77954 or #77922.

I have used file from report #77954 but I have scaled up flow objects and smoke is there. Other file is very much similar. Those aren't good example files.

Sorry, I'm not entirely sure what you mean with "scaled up flow objects". Do you mean you added more particles, or more sampling substeps, or something else?

Maybe the issue isn't explained well enough. Here are some screenshots.

These screenshots are from frame 40, WITH baked noise.
Solid view, material view, rendered view.
Solid (with noise).png
Material (with noise).png
Rendered (with noise).png

These screenshots are from frame 40, WITHOUT baked noise.
Material (no noise).png
Rendered (no noise).png

I'm not sure why it's invisible in my viewport, without noise.
Some explosions don't need that level of detail.
So to add that much more time on my renders, just to see it in the viewport, feels like over-kill.

I changed domain resolution to 32, I selected flow objects, hit {key S}, and typed 20 and moved them so they are in domain completely, then baked about 20 frames and checked if smoke was there.

I don't like using that file, because it's validity as usable simulation is disputed.

Update -

Without changing anything in the .blend file provide above or the file from #77954, Blender 2.82 is running this without any issues.
General Viewport bake is fully visible without having to bake "noise".

Definitely a 2.83 thing.
