It says bcon 2 features, does it mean it is possible to see this feature in 2.91 after Sept 16 by next week?

From the looks of it, plus notes from the "Tuesday talks ", it seems blue-noise dithered sampling is planned to be implemented by the end of bcon2. But keep in mind that things may change.

Is the "Sampling patches" mentioned in Tuesday Talks this blue noise? I am not so sure. And this is the only mentioning of Cycles sampling that looks like can be related.
Also I want to make sure I looked up for the right thing, is this image below the blue-noise dithered sampling that is coming to Cycles?

I mean... at least one of the related posts really should have put up an image like this in description to show people what blue-noise dithered sampling does.

You can test some of the sampling patches in our build, in graphicall.org, the bonemaster build

This is one of the patches, the other one is the scramble distance. Brecht has to test if it’s feasible for the blender production standards, and I’m not sure if there will be more patches around

Good to know that there is a build on graphicall, I will take a look

The end of bcon2 is coming, only a few days away, any update?

I should note that we have implemented part of the http://www.cemyuksel.com/research/sampleelimination/ paper in the geometry nodes project.
It could be used to generate Poisson disk/blue noise sample sets for cycles as well.
