Short description of error
Using Chinese (Both Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese) interface will cause a lot of text missing on the button or scrolling list on Mac (macOS Operating System )

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Switching Language to Chinese on Mac version will cause Text missing

This problem is likely to occur in all languages of macos blender. Garbled characters, missing characters, Chinese and traditional Chinese are the most likely to trigger errors.

Cannot redo on macOS 10.14.6, Intel HD 6000.
Did this get fixed with any macOS update (which also has GPU updates) ?

This is a problem that occurs in all low-end models except Intel IRIS PRO. I'm the latest MacOS 11.3, and there is no improvement or change. In fact, all languages have this kind of problem. As long as we switch languages constantly, this problem will be easily triggered. Finally, I have to restart blender to alleviate it temporarily.

I downloaded the latest version of master 3.0 to test it.This problem has not changed at all. It still exists. Only blender can solve this problem by using MoltenVK / Vulkan / Metal.

I saw something like this once, with the English interface, but I couldn't repeat it.

Now I can consistently reproduce it in one place, Shader Editor context path, with steps:

  • Factory Settings
  • Switch to Shader Editor
  • Open Preferences and Load Factory Preferences

Or save the startup file and reload it. It is present only right after loading before redrawing the interface.
Depending on the language, the pattern is different.
