  • Randomize uv islands (position, rotation and scale)
  • Very similar to “Randomize transform” in the 3d view
  • Useful for randomizing uv’s along U to get a random look on a bunch of wall pillars for example

I'm close to a "works on my machine" fix for this one, but it feels like it needs a round or two of design iteration before proceeding to code review, especially in light of https://github.com/gonzalo-lb/blender-uvrandomizer

I checked out the new randomize operator in the uv editor. I think it works great.

My only comment is to adjust the algorithm for randomizing scale. If the scale value is [1,1], then the result of the randomized scale would be that no uv scale is changed. If the scale value is [1.2, 1.2] the scale variation per uv island would be -20% to +20% compared to the original scale. It is worth comparing with the operator "randomize transforms" in object mode.
