Blender not importing character's vertex group

Short description of error
Hi, I have an fbx file with a character in it, and an armature. It works well in unreal, unity, 3ds max...But when I import it in blender, the vertex groups are not imported, and since the bones' weight are in the vertex group, well the armature does not work...Any idea why?

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
-Open blender
-Import a rigged character in blender
[Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible)]

Please attach a minimal FBX file reproducing the issue, we cannot work with a full production 1Mb thing.
