Suggestion:
I think the simple solution in this case will be add option to Reverse direction for both points: “Reverse Start Direction” and "Reverse End Direction". Start and End points can be calculated arbitrary.

Note that currently bridge assigns the direction based on the 2x loops, ignoring their surrounding geometry.

This works reasonable well except when the loops are exactly side-by-side. In that case the direction isn't predictable.

Basically, exactly side-by-side loops aren't supported.


This could be handled, by detecting this situation. then calculating the direction to use based on surrounding geometry, however detecting isn't fool proof as the threshold may be too high/low depending on the situation.

It may be best to have an option to use surrounding geometry when picking a direction for the bridge path, since this would solve the examples in this report.

I agree, that temporary solution can be like «revert both/first/last» to fix it manually at least.
Is there any way to fix/predict it?
At least bridge can use Face directions with «delete faces» option!
It will not require to search near geometry and will give intuitive way.
