Closed, DuplicatePublic

Description

System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.18362-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: GeForce MX130/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 451.67

Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.91.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2020-08-04 15:14, hash: rB93d8373edbe8
Worked: Never

Short description of error
The mouse would change from a normal mouse to a double sided arrow when hovering over a value, indicating this value can be slid. However, it fails to revert back to normal if the modifier is applied with Ctrl A. This happens in both 2.90 and 2.91. This is kind of annoying.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup

  1. Open Blender and give the default cube a subdivision modifier
  2. Hover your mouse over the subdi level slider, see it turns into the double sided arrow
  3. Hit Ctrl A to apply the modifier, and move you mouse away, see now your mouse is stuck in the double arrow form
