System Information

Worked: version: 2.90.0 Beta, branch: master, commit date: 2020-07-15 19:14, hash: rB974e36d7d0a1

Short description of error
Blender crashes on the second render that uses eevee.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Use any file, including the default scene.
  2. Render a frame using eevee, then do it again.

Notes
It's the second eevee render since opening blender, not since opening the file. Cycles works fine.

I could not reproduce either Catalina + Intel HD 6100. Tested master and 2.90 release from blender.org.

It feels like a High Sierra problem.

@Dec B (cheetahspots) If you can, try to update your system to the latest supported MacOS version.

May I also ask you to test the latest 2.91 build? We added debugging functionality that may help.

You can use the the --debug-gpu option and attach the log here. Also a crash log would help.
