System Information
Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit
Graphics card: Nvidia GTX 970
Blender Version
Broken: 2.83.4, 2.81, (maybe others too)
Worked: None
Short description of error
Sculpting with a graphics tablet does not affect the mesh unless a second window is opened. It will then only function in the second window as long as the first window remains open on the same file. Occasionally, the mesh will be affected except pen pressure will not be interpreted.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).

Can you tell us, what tablet brand and model are you using? Also try to update tablet drivers and check if that resolves the issue.
My mistake, that should have been in the initial post. The tablet is a Veikk A15.
I have updated the drivers to no effect.
I have found similar issue, you can look at that and check if it is the same issue, that you have - #75644.
I assume it is the same issue, to confirm can you try to check if any older Blender version works for you like 2.79 or 2.80 for example? https://download.blender.org/release/
Version
Version 2.80 seems to not have this issue. Obviously, it is not my preference to use an outdated version. Are there any other solutions that anyone has found?

Thanks for info.
I am not sure - I don't have experience with tablets and how they interface.
@PrototypeNM1 can you look at this report? Since 2.80 reportedly works, this doesn't look same as #75644
Switching back to 2.80 has not resolved the problem after all. During the second day of use after reverting to 2.80, the issue spontaneously reoccurred. Pen pressure is no longer recognized.

The issue from the other report is that the Veikk tablet driver does not send input to the correct window when multiple windows are under the same process.
Any thoughts I've had on fixing this issue run a greater risk of breaking something else, unfortunately the only way this will be fixed is if Veikk fixes their drivers.
