Short description of error

In previous versions when hiding geometry in edit mode this geometry remained hidden when switching to sculpt mode, in recent beta versions of blender 2.9 and 2.91 not only the hidden geometry is visible in sculpt mode, but also when return to edit mode vertices are visible and faces are hidden

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Select the default cube and enter edit mode.
  1. Select 4 vertices of a single face and hide them
  1. change the interaction mode to sculpt (geometry is visible contrary to 2.83)
  1. Return to edit mode (vertices of hidden geometry are visible, and faces are hidden)
