Intersect Knife produce wrong results when the faces are coplanar

Short description of error

so all the points are on the plane, and I'd make a grid of faces. So i use the knife (self intersect) tool, which i used to use in 2.79, and it produces results that are not correct

I've made a few examples here, seems like whatever planar, it'll definitly not work well and creates alot of jitter verticies

in 3D, it's a bit better, but alot of the time it still has the same problems

The problem is that this operator intersects the triangles on the face.
And coplanar triangles technically shouldn't intersect.

This is an old problem with this tool.
It may not be resolved soon but I am confirming the bug.
