Short description of error
Shift+F3 default switch to Shader Editor in blender 2.83, but in Blender 2.90 default is Compositor, please fix, not hand for 3d work.
BTW, who can tell me how to custom shortcuts for Shader Editor, Compositor .etc, specified directly, rather than switching cycle. sorry my poor English. thanks

Event Timeline

Leroy (Leroy) updated the task description. (Show Details)Thu, Sep 3, 4:27 AM
Philipp Oeser (lichtwerk) changed the task status from Needs Triage to Confirmed.Thu, Sep 3, 12:25 PM

This changed with the addition of Simulation Nodes (rB0247ee5f5362: Simulations: Add simulation node tree type)

I am unsure why Shader was always the first item prior to rB0247ee5f5362, code looks more like compositor is mentioned first, unsure if there is more control over the order somewhere else, will leave that to the UI team.
[Might not be a bug in the end -- but I assume this is an unintentional change worth checking]
Also not aware of a way to set the NODE_EDITOR subtype.
