CUDA/OPTIX rendering not working on dual GPU #80693

System Information
Operating system: Windows 10 pro-2004
Graphics card: GTX 1080 ti

                      RTX 2080 ti

RAM:- 32GB
CPU:- ryzen 9 3950x
PSU:- 1300W Platinum
Blender Version- 2.90 and 2.83 LTS
NVIDIA CUDA version:- 11.0.288
NVIDIA driver version:- 452.06
Directx:- 12

Short description of error
I had put a GTX 1080 ti and RTX 2080 ti in my system. Since both are detected by the windows, I can't render an image or animation. I tried it with different scenes but neither viewport nor the F12 rendering is working. If I use CUDA rendering it says CUDA error at cuCtxCreate: Illegal address and if I am using both cards on Optix render(on blender 2.90) it says failed to create CUDA context, illegal address.

I heard that we can use 2 different GPUs with non-sli config for rendering. Correct me if I am wrong or I am doing something wrong.

Does this happen even with default cube?

Yes, it was happening, whenever I was trying to render anything.

Today the error was solved, I reinstalled the windows and had a clean installation of nvidia drivers. Now working fine.
