Short description of error
Attempting to use the shader viewport while using Eevee, using my GPU, makes my system go into slow motion until Blender is closed.
It didn't used to do this for me before until just recently. I also attempted to download older Blender versions to see if it would make a difference but it won't fix itself for some reason.
(My main install of Blender is from Manjaro's repo)
I have no idea what could be causing it.

I cannot reproduce the problem here.
Try running blender from the command line with the
--debug-gpu
option.After trigger the bug, you can copy information from the command line into a .txt file and attach it here.

Also, it seems that after waiting a bit, my system becomes responsive again but attempting to interact with the render window causes the system to slo-mo lag again for a while and happens every time.
There is no error or warning message, I'm not sure if these messages will help much.
Have you checked if the drivers are up to date?

I already have my latest GPU driver from Nvidia for Linux, I already checked.

Can you try build from https://builder.blender.org/download/ ?
Also happened with that version.
Starting to think Nvidia's latest driver might just be bad, because this didn't start happening until recently.
Scratch that, rolling back didn't fix the problem either.

No lag/freeze here checked 2.90 and current master
I just tried to do it in Windows on the same hardware (separate drive) without any issue.
I have no idea what's going on here. x_x

Hi @Neko-san, is this still a problem for you in recent releases like 2.93.0 and when using recent nVidia drivers (version 460 onwards)?

Sorry for the silence; I was hospitalized recently
It had turned out to be a hardware issue; I had my GPU replaced by EVGA and the issue no longer occured on the new card.
I appreciate the interest in helping solve the issue though, thanks.
