This task is to keep track of the EEVEE AOV project. The project when completed will deliver:

  1. Unified render passes AOV editor for EEVEE, Cycles and other render engines.
  1. Material based AOVs for EEVEE D7010: EEVEE: Arbitrary Output Variables
  2. World based AOVs for EEVEE D7010: EEVEE: Arbitrary Output Variables
  3. Viewport render pass selection for AOVs D7010: EEVEE: Arbitrary Output Variables

will aov be realtime compatible ?

  • is using AOV in 'Realtime composition nodes' to make 2d filters within it's design scope?

I am very interested in this topic.
I have done motion blur - bloom buffers - temporal FX - distortion buffers
it's very very nice thing to have in upbge games - but it could also allow for realtime preview of FX for everyone else,
