I have a live Array modifier on an object with another one used as an end cap, followed by several other modifiers. The viewport displays the result as it should, yet when I render it, I get huge artifacts. I deactivated all modifiers one after the other to deduce the problem, the Array Modifier seems to be the culprit. The scene file is included right below.
PANEL_ARRAY_OR_MIRROR_BUG.blend

Is this EEVEE only, or does it also happen in cycles/workbench render?
Can you minimize the blend file to the mere minimum showing the issue.
Hi Jeroen;
The contents of the file have been minimized to a minimum, down to the very object that exhibits the problem. Haven't tested it out on Cycles, but you can very easily switch the render engine and see it for yourself.
AJ
I looked through the scene file and took out everything that were left over, like the viewlayers, the background object etc (though they didn't contribute to the problem)
Here's the Scene file:
PANEL_ARRAY_BUG_STRIPPED.blend
As a side note, the problem is persistent in 2.9.01!

Not a bug.
The cap object has modifiers that are disabled in the viewport but enabled for render.
