Short description of error
When rendering with cycles with CPU device selected, any kind of viewport denoising Auto/OptiX, etc. crashes blender.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
1.Create a new blender file with default cube.

  1. Select cycles as renderer, with default device as CPU selected.
  2. Enable viewport denoising, with any denoising option (Auto/OptiX, etc.) selected.
  3. Click on display render preview for viewport rendering. Blender starts to render, and crashes within seconds.
