Short description of error
Hey. This is not the first time this problem has occurred. I use the blender kit at the texturing stage, periodically. And if the blender kit is not used for a long time, then it stops working. I used to delete the blender kit folder and restore it by checking the integrity of the files in Steam. There is no other way to download the current version of the blender kit and this is a problem. But now this method does not help. I just can't enable the plugin in the settings.
I see people here face the same problem and reinstall blender can help, but its don't solve the problem that appear again and again.

I think reinstalling the blender might help, but I can't uninstall and re-tune the blender every week. Please help!

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
just try to eneble blender kit add on in prefrences tab.

I am having the exact same issue, this just started randomly yesterday and I've done everything from repair blender, remove then reinstall blender, download blender 2.91, download blender from steam, I event went back a couple of months worth of windows 10 updates. Here's my error message:

I've got 20 or 30 custom addons I've downloaded over the years so I think I'll just stick with this. I got Blenderkit to work on 2.83.7 so I'll just copy models into that version when I need to texture them using blenderkit.

I have a problem with Kitops Synth addon when I try to enable. Traceback error happens. I dont have any knowledge and experience about code writing scripting etc... Would you like to check out the error code? I have a screenshot of it. There is no satisfying tech support.

@xiddenx Please do not claim tasks unless you intend to work on fixing it. This ticket has already been archived and is unrelated to the add-on you've mentioned. We only provide support for Blender itself and add-ons that are distributed with it. Unfortunately, we do not provide support for third-party add-ons such as Kit Ops Synth.

There might be an application listed in windows Settings > Apps, then search Python Launcher. Uninstall the entries named Python Launcher. In my case it worked😊😊.

Note: Windows explorer might crash after uninstalling Python Launcher (I don't know how, but it happened to me so I mentioned) i.e, windows taskbar,file explorer search, settings UI will be crashed. To get around the situation, simply press ctrl-alt-del > Sign Out. Then you will come to lock screen and login to enter the desktop.
