Looking forward to it. Will you be working with similar geometry workflows like the addon Sorcar, Sverchok or others like Houdini? Hope so! I know this comment is out of place, but I'm super excited for nodal goemetry, modifier stack and matrice accessibility from inside Blender.

Small suggestion: make the socket color the same shade of green as geometry datablocks have in the outliner.

I asked @pablovazquez to come up with a color for the socket. But yes, until then I can change it to that color.

@brecht, hm it looks like the color of the icon is based on the theme, isn't it? Should the color of the socket also change based on the theme? That seems to be confusing. So instead of doing that, you suggested to use the color from the default theme, right?
That would be icon_object_data = RGBA(0x00d4a3ff) if I'm not mistaken.
