9441c640c8
Worked: 2.90
Short description of error
Window gets "over-bright" when pressing Ctrl S on Maximized Area.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Press the middle mouse button and drag the mouse in the window with the render result
Here are some screenshots I can also provide screen recording if needed.
Thanks!

Unfortunately I can't reproduce this with the provided instructions. Is {key CTRL S} also mapped to Save File in your keymap or is this some other operation?
There was a similar issue for the VSE (#81969) that should've been fixed by
36e8561298
, but perhaps this commit didn't fix the problem entirely for all parts of Blender.Edit 2020-10-24: The commit did not fix the issue, so this may as well be the same cause.
This is on factory startup settings. Yes {key CTRL S} mapped to Save File. I am not sure when this bug was introduced, about 5-7 days ago.
I will try to reproduce this again tomorrow.
Changed status from 'Needs User Info' to: 'Confirmed'
I can reproduce the issue in the separate window with the render results, but cannot in the 3D view. Maximizing the area ({key CTRL Spacebar}, View > Area > Toggle Maximize Area) is not necessary to cause the error.
Given that the ticket #81969 wasn't fixed by
36e8561298
, it's quite likely that this is the same or closely related issue. I'll check if it is the same commit that introduced the issue in the other ticket. This issue was also introduced by

Unfortunately this is still not fixed for me in latest 2.91.0 Beta, branch: master, commit date: 2020-10-24 21:36, hash:
1c653a0315
version.
