Cannot really reproduce here

**System Information**
Operating system: Linux-5.9.16-200.fc33.x86_64-x86_64-with-fedora-33-Thirty_Three 64 Bits
Graphics card: GeForce GTX 970M/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 455.45.01

2.92 Alpha previous versions

^^ this is from the report desciption: does this mean it worked in these previous versions?
If that wasnt meant, was this working in previous versions?

Just to make sure:

  • Please try with File → Defaults → Load Factory Settings to see if you still can reproduce this issue.
  • Does this only happen with hybrid CPU/GPU? only with Optix? Only with CUDA? Does it happen with CPU?
  • Does it happen without denoising?

If nothing helps, please also try this again in a fresh build from https://builder.blender.org/download/

I can´t reproduce this anymore with the todays build 2.92.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2021-01-07 22:28, hash: 61f1faac3f

I made a more specific bug report two days ago here: https://developer.blender.org/T84450

I used the default settings too, this was only with optiX, GPU only, no denoising.

This seems to be fixed now!

OKi, thx getting back.

Lets hope #84217 (Segmentation fault upon entering local view from rendered view) gets fixed soon then.
