Graphics card: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT ATI Technologies Inc. 4.5.14757 Core Profile Context 20.12.1 27.20.14501.28009
Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.92.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2021-01-03 01:04, hash:
1e8f266591
Worked: 2.91
Short description of error
if you press the f key down to fill in 2.91 you can see that if repeats itself until you stop pressing it, tho with 2.92 if you try to do it, you will only get the fill operator once
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
you can see below how it's behaving:2021-01-08 14-12-11.mp4

To make it work go to: Edit > Preferences > Keymap > 3D View > Mesh > Mesh (Global) > Make Edge/Face, and then enable the "Repeat" option (checkbox)...
I don't know if it was disabled on purpose or not....
for some reason it had been disabled in default settings then because I never changed it

Do you get the same problem with a factory startup or Blender? (File > Defaults > Load Factory Settings)?
If this is a purposeful it should at least be documented in the release notes.

Alright, thanks @jenkm. I'll add a commit to add repeat back to the keymap for this operator, it's important for this one.
