System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.19041-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: GeForce GTX 1060 6GB/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 460.89

Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.91.0, branch: master, commit date: 2020-11-25 08:34, hash: 0f45cab862
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
When you want to do INSET in mode "Individual = off" in the highest part of an "ROUND CUBE" object Inset does not work perfectly, it makes you INSET in mode "Individual = ON" (Even if you have it disabled)

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
[Please describe the exact steps needed to reproduce the issue]
1 - Create a Mesh: ROUND CUBE
2 - Select 4 faces.
3 - Press Inset (I) in mode Individual = off.
4 . Problem, it does like a individual on.

Which 4 faces? I can't reproduce the problem. Perhaps you could attach a screenshot or a sample .blend file with faces in question already selected?

You can clearly see on that screenshot that the round cube is split into eight pieces. Those edges are not connected, thus you get four different insets instead of one.

I cannot see any combination of options that would let you create such a split rounded cube.

Sorry, I didn't know that the round cube separate it into different parts. Thank you.

The rounded cube is not really split, there are duplicate vertices along each axis plane. Selecting all vertices {key A} and then Mesh > Clean Up > Merge By Distance should fix the problem.

Could be. I mean, it'd look the same either way.

Yes, you are right!
