System Information
Operating system: Windows 10, 64 bit
Graphics card: Nvidia Quadro P2000

Blender Version
Broken: 2.91.2
Worked: never had Blender installed. Tried 2.8, same result

Short description of error
Hi! I installed Blender but it doesnt open. It only displays a black window very briefly, then closes. I tried turning off Virus Program and turning off reporting in the user account. And to update driver software for graphics card. I also tried launching over cmd (see screenshot).

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).

  • Do you have an integrated GPU?
  • Are you using more than one monitor?
  • Are the monitors connected to the HDMI port of the mainboard or GPU?

Hi Robert, it suddenly worked! I reinstalled it three times and updated windows. I dont know what did the trick. Thank you anyway.
