Crash when Baking Eevee Indirect Lighting #85718

Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.18362-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: GeForce MX130/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 461.40

Broken: version: 2.93.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2021-02-16 23:15, hash: 461d4fc1aa
Worked: 2.92

Short description of error
2.93 crashes after pressing the bake indirect lighting buttom. It also cannot read lighting cache baked from previous versions such as 2.92. If you open a scene baked in 2.92, 2.93 will display this message: "Incompatible Light cache Version, please bake again." But when you press bake it just crashes.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup

  1. Shift A and add an Irradiance Volume
  2. Go to the render settings, and find the Indirect Lighting tab
  3. Press the Bake Indirect Lighting Buttom, and Blender Crashes
  4. Go to 2.92 and repeat the listed steps, the baking was a success
  5. Save and open the file with 2.93, see how the baked light cache was not recognized and read the error message in the baking tab

You dont need to close it, whoever is responsible for triaging will mark it as duplicate and reference it to the original.

nO They have time. Its best to leave it open if you already posted it sometimes additional posters provide better examples or better explanations and this gets added into the original. There is a someone that works just on triaging and such not like actual developers have to do it.
