Graphics card: GeForce GTX 1060 6GB/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 457.30

Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.93.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2021-02-23 23:15, hash: rBb2c7ea6d82c4
Worked: (2.92)
[First, I thought it might be only specular bsdf that goes pink when plugged into the material output, but it
seems that every shader seems broken, as far as I know, principle bsdf looks good on the surface, but if I start playing with some of the other parameters it breaks, like subsurface, metallic or transmission, seems to also be affecting all sorts of nodes, like noise, geometry, and others. I tried with a new blender factory, no plugins or custom preferences, same issue. ]

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
[go to the shading tab, toggle rendered view, or viewport shading, add material, change from principal bsdf to any other node, it goes pink (exception of emission) ]
[Based on the default startup]

If it is the caused by the Specular BSDF then this is likely the same as T85939. Does this also happen when you delete the Specular BSDF node / there is no Specular BSDF node present in any material?

Falk David (filedescriptor) changed the task status from Needs Triage to Needs Information from User.Feb 24 2021, 11:26 AM

Yeah, that seems about right, Specular BSDF is the culprit.
Is this a problem on my end on how I downloaded 2.93?
I'm using Overmind studios Blender Updater.

@charly chive (charlychive) No, this was a bug and has been fixed in rB0fe25a6232c4f8eacda02e23945ac3d2ad8808ff. The next daily build of 2.93 should include the fix and solve the problem.
