Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.93.0 Beta, branch: master, commit date: 2021-04-15 14:16, hash: rBa4877f9e5408
Worked: 2.92
Short description of error
Not really sure if this is a bug. I cannot think of the reason why you would change the default back to "standard" like 2.79, and I cannot seem to find relevent posts, so I am reporting this just in case.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup

  1. Load Factory Setting if you have custum startup
  2. Look at View Transform under Color Management Panel, usually it is "Filmic", but now it is "Standard"

Alaska (Alaska) changed the subtype of this task from "Report" to "Bug".
Alaska (Alaska) added a subscriber: Alaska (Alaska).

Can confirm.

I bisected the issue and found it to be caused by rBac90c8a7743f: UI: Add a workspace for geometry nodes in the default startup file

I believe it's just a mistake.

Ugh, I guess that comes down to saving the startup file in a non-full build. Changing the startup file is sketchy, yikes.

I'll change that back.

It should be fixed now. Thanks for the the report @Zijun Zhou (Eary), and the bisect @Alaska (Alaska), and the poke @Philipp Oeser (lichtwerk) : )
