OS: Windows 10 Pro.

  • Graphic card: Intel(R) UHD Graphics 610.

  • Processor: Intel Celeron(R) G4920 CPU.

  • RAM: 8 GB.

  • Blener Version: 2.92.0.

  • Short description of error.

    • Brush Smooth (2D Animation). Points starts and ends.
  • Exact steps for other to reproduce the error.

    • File, New, 2D Animation.
    • Cirle. Enter.
    • Sculpt Mode.
    • Brush Smooth.
  • Español:

    • Al pasarle la brocha Smooth a un círculo en modo Sculpt se observa que los puntos inicio y fin se alejan. También pasa lo mismo si dibujamos un círculo con el lápiz y cerramos con F. Al pasarle el Smooth vuelve a pasar lo mismo.

Actually, the smooth is applied to all points of the stroke, so the smooth result can change the shape. We are going to discuss if we want keep this or change it to keep start and end points unchanged.

I think the actual behaviour is right, if the user wants that sculpt brushes affect only certain part of the drawing can use the selection filter in sculpt mode.

In this case select all the point in the strokes excepts the start and end ones
