Event Timeline

Here's a crash log. It's from the May 29 build of the 3.0.0 alpha.

Pratik Borhade (PratikPB2123) changed the task status from Needs Triage to Confirmed.Mon, May 31, 5:36 AM

I can reproduce the crash for both 2.93.0 and 3.0.0 alpha.
assert hit in node_geometry_exec.cc

else if (found_socket->flag & SOCK_UNAVAIL) {
    std::cout << "The socket corresponding to the identifier '" << identifier
              << "' is disabled.\n";
    BLI_assert_unreachable();
  }

Seems like one of the Point Distribute nodes has a socket which is undefined
This wasnt a problem until rBc5514d3a2a03: Geometry Nodes: Multi-Input Sockets

Will merge this into T89004. The old evaluator couldn't handle undefined sockets. This won't be solved for 2.92 but we can solve the crash in an update for 2.93.
