Short description of error

The Make Line tool from the Snap Utilities Line addon does not snap to any vertex or edge on mouseover like it did in previous versions. Other functions like perpendicular/midpoint edge snapping do not work either. This often results in floating vertices on a mesh instead of proper cuts.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

Use the Make Line tool on any mesh and compare the lack of edge snapping to previous versions of Blender.

@PratikPB2123 Thank you, I can confirm that it works correctly again in the alpha (blender-3.0.0-alpha+master.fafd21b14c23-windows.amd64-release.zip). :)

Thank you, I can confirm that it works correctly again in the alpha

Thank you for checking. Germano also added the commit in 2.93 LTS maintenance task (blender/blender#88449) so I think its safe to close the ticket.
