VSE Conversion from Image Strip to Movie Incorrect Dimensions #89203

System Information
Operating system: Windows 10
Graphics card: RTX 2080

Blender Version
Broken: 2.92, 2.93
Worked: 2.91

Short description of error
When converting an image strip to movie, the result is "zoomed in."

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Create image strip (specifically in my case, I used 1280x760), 240 images. (Helps to see the problem if you put content at the edges of the camera view.)
  2. Manually set render size to match (again, 1280x760, 240 frames).

See example here:
Original Render: https://imgur.com/hpg3Kyb
Same frame, but through VSE: https://imgur.com/caDMszK
(Blender 2.91 works as expected.)

Thanks for the report. Unfortunately the scenario described is too time consuming for us to track down, we require the bug reporter to narrow down the problem.
Is it necessary to create an "image strip" with 240 images?
If there are many steps to reproduce the problem, please attach a .blend file saved right before the bug occurs, so only a few steps are needed to trigger the bug.

(Also make sure this issue has not been reported before).

Here is a link to google drive, where you'll find 240 stills inside a 7zip folder.

Also is the resulting compiled movie, current version of blender on site.

@MFletcher I can't reproduce this issue. When you render video image in VSE preview is correct? If that is the case can you also share .blend file that produces broken output?

Follow the link above. I added a new zip folder. It includes the original blend used to create the stills, as well as a blend to compile the stills together, in addition to hopefully all the miscellaneous files needed to run both in their relative directories.
