Short description of error
Rendering a 4k video with video editing results a full HD render (a) and is interpolated weirdly (b)

a. Here you can see that the output is 4k format (so is the video)

b. Not proper interpolation when rendering the video (It's not a proxy)

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Start a new file with video editing template
  2. Add a 4k video and change the resolution to 3840x2160 (4k format)
  3. Render and see that it's full screen

Event Timeline

For preview, fastest interpolation is used as to provide fastest playback rate.

there is another report for resolution change issue, so I will merge this report.
