Short description of error
The import clamp size is default=0
Later on i found my imported objects are 100x bigger in Blender comparing to Maya and it’s very frustrating as i have to scale it down the object and redo/reset the hair , rigging, lighting which is not easy .
I made new scene and set unit scale to 0.01, then appended all objects into that new scene. that didn’t work.
Any way i can set unit scale to 0.01 and freeze it to 1.0(which is default).
Any idea? any solution ?
Thanks
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).

We will need more information. Are you exporting .fbx files from Maya and importing them into Blender? If so, then it's possible that Maya and Blender are expecting different units (centimeters vs. meters).
In that case, you'll need to adjust the Scale when importing the .fbx.
I imported OBJ, I know how to avoid it in the future, but it's a problem.
The problem is Blender CM is 100x smaller than Maya for example,
But i have several object with lots of hair attached to them already, scaling down those object screw up the hair .
so the object that is 100 cm in Maya appears to be 10000 CM in Blender with default import setting.

Your Maya export settings, the resulting OBJ file, and the resulting .blend file after importing, would all probably be pretty handy here! It would also be good if you could make sure that importing the OBJ back into Maya doesn't have the same issue.

I am still facing this issue in Blender 3.4.0.
Blender cm unit is 100X smaller then other applications. I have tested with 3DSMax 2023 and Marvelous Designer 12. All aplication's file unit setup is CM and also exported OBJ with CM unit selected. Both applications reads same sale which is 100X smaller. Can anyone help and fix this. Thanks.
I use x100 size multiplier in .obj export settings, and x0.01 on import. This way the scale stays consistent both in blender and other programs.
An inconvenient solution, but..
